How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007247 / WP2315539 Evaporator Motor

Replaced the motor 

First verified that the evaporator coils we not frozen over which would cause a blockage to the fridge. observed the evaporator fan running but not at the correct speed. Fan motor case was cracked and was beginning to go to ground. Ordered new fan motor and swapped out. Before the end of the day fridge was back to temperature and ice maker working. 

Freezer was staying fairly cold but refrigerator was not. Took cover off of evaporator fan in back of freezer and fan was not spinning. Had the old fan motor out in 15 minutes or less. Came onto appliancepartspros.com and ordered the part number on the side of the old motor. Used overnight shipping and received the motor the next early afternoon. Replaced motor in about 15 minutes and was reloading the refrigerator that night. Works great! 

Replace evaporator fan 

Replaced the whole fan motor. 

The fan arrived the next day and I was able to install it in 5 to 8 minutes thanks to your video.
