If your supply and discharge lines go through cabinets/voids/etc from the sink area to the dishwasher, make sure you give enough slack without the hoses going into the voids to avoid re-snaking the hoses back to area underneath the sink. Anthony A Maple Grove , MN July 18, 2020 Loud metal on metal grinding noises during wash cycle. Opened up inside first, noticed that chopper was damaged. Ordered part and replaced. Noise was still present. Following the video tutorial it was easy enough to take off circulation motor. After removal, I could manually spin the impeller (which was still attached to the motor) and could hear quiet squeaking sounds. Definitely a bearing or something in the motor assembly. Ordered part to replace. It was half a hour to get everything hooked back up and now the dishwasher works like new. Read More...
