Guy P Palisade , CO February 22, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Dishwasher WDF760SADM0 Leaking at diverter seal. Basically an easy repair. Note to others who might have the same model: WDF760SADM0, There are differences in the tub which require removal of two additional lines coming out of the diverter, but not difficult. Additionally, the seal on the main motor to the sump was integral with the motor, and did have to be removed at the same time as the motor when disassembling. After disassembling I attempted to remove the seal from the motor, but it was firmly glued on. other than that the video was accurate. Read More... Allen A Palo Alto , CA February 03, 2020 Appliance: KitchenAid Dishwasher KDTE334GPS0 Leaking near diverter motor After some searching, I learned that it's common to have leaks where the diverter motor shaft runs through a bushing in the sump. That sure looked like what was happening in my case. It's too bad you can't just replace the bushing, but there doesn't seem to be any easy way to do that. It's also hard to know whether the failure is due to wear on the bushing or on the shaft, so I decided to go ahead and replace both. I haven't done this sort of repair before, but the AppliancePartsPros video was extremely helpful. From start to finish took me three hours, although some of that time was spent fixing unrelated problems like deposits in the water supply line. Read More... Dustin W Kansas City , MO January 06, 2020 Dishwasher leaking from underneath Using the information from AppliancePartsPros.com, I was able figure out a couple likely sources of the leak. Further, the repair videos showed enough detail that I thought I might be able to handle this repair, though I am not typically the kind of person to take on a repair like this! The parts arrived promptly, and the videos took me through each step of the repair, even providing important reminders and tips throughout. Repair required replacing the diverter motor and afterward, no more leaks! The repair did not require replacing the sump, and AppliancePartsPros.com said they will allow me to return that part since I had not used it. THANKS for great support through this repair!
