How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009605 / WP500121 Dryer Glide Felt Pad

Replaced the felt pads and rubber strips on both sides. 

I went to AppliancePartsPros.com and they listed symptoms and the parts needed to make the repairs. The entire process took less than an hour.

Replaced the High Limit Thermal Fuse. Also replaced the Dryer Belt and Drum Glides. 

Replacement of part. Also replaced drum rollers and glides while apart. The Appliance Parts Pros video was very helpful. 

First replaced the drum bearings and belt. Still squealed. Replaced tensioner and drum glides. The tensioner pulley was spinning hard so I believe that was the main problem. Now 10+ year old dryer nice and quiet like new. 

The dryer was about 18 years old, and all the parts were "just plumb worn out." All the parts I ordered were genuine factory parts identical to parts in the dryer. Since I have been inside this dryer before, this repair only took about an hour. Good as new for a few Benjamins, a lot less than $1200 for a new dryer. 

Found the belt tensioner pulley was seized on the shaft. Figured to replace the belt and tensioner, and while at it, the drum glides and pads. Effected those repairs. I must commend the folks at AppliancePartsPros.com for timely(speedy) delivery of the CORRECT parts to accomplish my task. Kudos. 

Replaced motor. Since the dryer was noisy and we would have it apart, I replaced the drum support rollers, glides and felts, and pulley tension roller. The whole job with the extensive cleanup of the inside of the dryer took less than an hour. Thank you Appliancepartspros.com for the videos. This made the entire job super easy. 

Got guides and felts but found I also need pulley which I ordered from you.
