How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006159 / WP2196195 Dispenser Door Pin Kit

Took front push button panel off and found hinge pin eyelet broken in the molded part of freezer door. Ordered repair kit and it was delivered lightening fast I had asked for regular shipping but it came next day. Installed parts per video instructions found on their website and it was a breeze. It solved the problem and is working flawlessly. I can't be happier with the parts and this awesome company. 

The ice dispenser door was broken and was creating ice to build up inside the freezer.also removed old dispenser and put new one in with new pin

Thanks to appliance pro, it was very easy after looking at the video. 

I noticed that a pin, spring, and piece of plastic had dropped out from within the ice dispensing mechanism on my door mount ice dispenser. After a couple Google searches and after watching a few videos from appliancespartspros.com I was confident that I could repair the problem. After dismantling the ice dispenser I found that the plastic piece that I had found had actually broken off from inside the dispenser where the pin and spring door control mechanism sat. Unfortunately that piece could not be replaced so I had to super glue it back into place. But once I did that I was able to restore the ice dispenser. The videos that are provided are super helpful and gave me the confidence to try and do the home repair on my own.
