After determining the water pump needed to be replaced I ordered one from ApplianceParts Pros. When I received the pump it was just a matter of disconnecting the drain hose then the rear panel from the back of the washer. I drained the residual water, from the old pump, by unscrewing the plug for the lint and debris screen and disconnected the drain hose from the pump. I unscrewed the 4 mounting screws, for the old pump, and pulled down from the washer tub. I put a VERY small amount of dishwashing soap around the rubber grommet, on the new water pump, to ease the installation back into the washer tub. After that, I reversed the procedure putting everything back together.
