How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023956 / WPW10730972 Washer Water Pump

Ordered new pump. Arrived in a day and a half. Was not home at the time. Waited for next day to repair. Repair was straight forward and easy, although as a novice I struggled with getting pressure clamps back in proper location, but that went to pass, lol. The whole job took less than an hour. Thank you to the supplied video on how to replace. 

I viewed the video on this site, and decided to order the water pump and fix it myself. The pump came the next day, and it was really very easy to replace it. I had one small roadblock in that the video showed the hose from the drum and the hose out to the drain as both having spring clamps. My "exhaust" hose had a poly elbow with metal clamp. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase a strap clamp for $1.50 and was able to resecure the drain hose to the new water pump securely. All-in-all, a straight forward job, thanks to the video instructions. 

Called appliancepartsPros.com spoke with someone about what was going on with my washer. I ordered the water pump and it works great. 

With the quick expediant service you provided and the YouTube video. I saved a money. 

If you follow the video given by Appliance Pro you will have no problems at all. Wish all instructions was this easy. I installed a drain pump.

Having watched a quick video hosted on AppliancePartsPros.com (via a google search for my washer's error code), I saw how easy it was to replace the pump myself. The link to the replacement part was right there next to the video, so I ordered it. It came within a few days and I replaced the part. The washer is working great now. Very satisfied. 

Ordered new pump Installed the new pump and it worked. 

I replaced the water pump. The video on the appliancepartspros web site showed exactly how to remove and re-install the part and it went pretty smoothly. Only issue was that the washer's metal bottom had rusted a bit, and it took some time to wiggle the new pump into place. 

Just replaced it, very easy.
