How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023956 / WPW10730972 Washer Water Pump

Changed out pump 

Replaced in Less than 30 minutes. Watched video prior to ordering. Took off front panael to confirm correct part prior to the order. Received in 3 days. Watched video again and changed out the pump. All good. Did two loads prior to placing front panel back on to confirm no leeks. 

Replaced pump. Be aware, if washer is on a pedestal, you will have to separate the pedestal from the washer. While holding pedestal, and removing the 2 front screws securing pedestal to the washer, tilt the washer back and place a 2 x 4 to hold the two separate. Is enough room to remove the screws holding the pump which is in the front. 

Viewed your video. Completed the work easily. Best part-A happy wife. I will never order a part from any other company unless you can not provide it. Thanks again

Was getting F21 error so meant that water was not flowing from drum to drain. Turned out it was the motor. It was several years old and had a lot of use to it was probably time for it to go. Took less then 10 minutes to take out old one and install new. I haven't had a repair person out in years with you guys, have fixed oven, dishwasher, fridge, Dryer and now washer. 

Cleaned the trap, still wouldn't drain. Ordered and installed the water pump, WORKS GREAT NOW! THE "HOW TO" VIDEO WAS SPOT ON!! 

Customer service was able to look up my part number and locate a new one in a couple of minutes. They were knowledgeable about washing machines and were able to tell me that I was correct that the most likely issue was that my pump was out. They were able to answer all my questions about the warranty and return policy too. Terrific company!
