I removed the 12" long hexagonal driveshaft that connects the ice dispenser motor to the auger and noticed the "auger" end was rounded. I was pretty sure the shaft was turning inside the 12 point female connector on the auger while the 6 point female connection on the motor was not. While waiting for the new shaft to arrive in the mail, I just moved the plastic spacer from one end to the other and rotated the whole shaft 180 degrees!! (i.e., rounded end into the 6 point connection on the motor, and the other end (not rounded) into the existing 12 point auger connection. Auger now spins - FIXED!! I will keep the new part for possible future repair. Note: removing ice dispenser motor (to see its drive connection) was tricky to get it passed the wiring.
