How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009858 / WP6-3129480 Dryer Drum Roller Axle

Replaced rollers, roller shafts and tumbler bearings. 

Replaced the drum rollers. 

Replaced roller axle, rollers, front bearings, belt pulley and belt removed along with lint build up in blower housing videos were excellent guide. lithium grease on roller axle. right axle & roller were discolored due to excessive heat from binding. 

Replaced 2 drum rollers one drum roller axle and tumbler bearing kit. 

I looked up the parts on your page and watched your videos to know which ones to replace and how to do it. 

Ordered all the parts needed and installed them. The noise coming out of that thing drove us crazy. And wow in that same week my upright freezer stopped cooling week later our upstairs refrigerator stopped cooling. The dryer was 20 years old, both the freezer and refrigerator were 12 years old, I was able to get all them back and running within a few days thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com they had everything I needed. I'd replaced another noisy roller a couple of years ago, but this time I used the video from AppliancePartsPro.com to disassemble and re-assemble the dryer. I had it apart in about 5 minutes following that video, it was exactly what I needed! I replaced the roller axle with a simple combo wrench. Removing the snap ring and installing the new support roller once the axle was in. The belt installation was merely part of re-assembly. Every part was exactly what I needed and I could have sworn the video was made using MY dryer. It was the exact model and there was NO guesswork when following the video. I feel like a pro! 

Took apart the dryer according to steps provided in the video. Once I got it apart, it was apparent that the right drum roller support was the culprit. Replaced both drum roller supports and everything is back to normal. Job was made easy by the video and the service was phenomenal. Order the parts on Friday in the AM. Was notified that they were shipped the same day. Received the parts in the morning on Saturday. You can't ask for better service. 

First of all your video's are great! I disassembled the front of the dryer and went right to the blower wheel assembly and found the hub of the wheel all wallowed out. I ordered the blower wheel and thought I would also order the drum rollers as I did here every now and then a squeak while the dryer was running. I also felt if I'm going to order the drum rollers I might as well order the drum roller axle. I also thought I would order the idler pulley too since I had access to the back of the dryer. When the parts arrived I took an evening after work and went to it. Everything went as planned and I installed all the parts and the dryer is like new. I invest in parts and fixing this thing because they don't make them like this anymore. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros. The attendant on the phone was knowledgeable and courteous and helpful when I ordered the parts as I did not order on line. With the 2+ hours below I really took this thing apart and cleaned it. The dryer runs so quiet now. 

Belt tension pulley was replaced. Drum support rollers and drive belt were also replaced as preventive maintenance. Parts were exact replacements. Instructional video on the web site was excellent!
