Keith B Norman , OK January 28, 2025 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer LAT2916AAE 28 year old maytag washer would not fill or start After reviewing other stories I saw that one or both of the switches in the lid switch assembly could be at fault. I didn't think it was the lid switch itself because the washer should fill even if the lid was open. Lid switch assembly seemed like a low risk solution to try so I ordered the part and received it within two days. Matt B Bangor , WI September 10, 2023 Washer would not empty spin or fill AppliancePartsPros.com troubleshooting information suggested one of two switches. Rather than take a chance on choosing the wrong switch, I purchased the assembly which contained both switches, for considerably less money than buying both switches separately. AppliancePartsPros.com is not the cheapest place to obtain parts, but they make the repair possible with their helpful information. I choose to reward such helpfulness with my purchase, even though it costs a little more. Read More...
