How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6973145 / W11396033 Door Switch

Watched YouTube, replaced part. 

Installed new switch 

Order a new switch from appliance parts pro and received exact part I needed. I watched the how to replace it and had it replaced in less than 10 minutes. 5 stars! 

Ordered a new switch from appliance parts pros and it came within tree day’s. And it took 5 min. To fix 

New gasket 

Pulled old one out in plugged it put new one back in 

I pulled the old one out and unplugged it. Plugged the new one in and pushed it back in. Simple. 

Worked the old switch out using a small screwdriver to pry it out of the cabinet wall. Replacing the new one was very easy 

The washer wasn't draining so the first thing I noticed was the broken glass, vacuumed the water out, removed the dishwasher disconnected the power and water line and checked the drain hose which was clear of any obstructions, then removed the drain pump and it had pieces of broken glass which damage the pump, I ordered a new pump drain replace it and the dishwasher it's working again.
