How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094323 / 279973 Dryer Thermal Cut-Off Kit

Repair was scheduled but canceled due to social distancing so I need to repair it myself. Went on the AppliancePartsPros site, watched the video and ordered the part. Should have done it in the first place. The part arrived and it took 20 minutes, max to put the new cut-off and thermostat in and have the dryer working. All good and much cheaper than service call! 

Replaced the heating element. I broke a terminal off of the Thermal switch. Replaced it also. 

High temp sensor, thermostat, heating element. 

Changed heating element and it was recommended to change thermal cut off and thrm`st-fix. 

Replaced the dryers heating coil and high-limit cutoff. Replacement parts came quickly and were simple to install. Thanks! 

Replaced heating element and sensors. Wife very HAPPY. 

Replaced the heating element along with the thermal cut-off kit while I had the dryer taken apart. 

Ordered a new one and replaced it 

I did have a way of testing each part, so I replaced each item that was related to the heating. 

Installed new parts and it worked.
