How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016779 / WPW10195623 Upper Dishrack Track

I replaced the upper rack wheels, tub wheel assembly, and the upper dish track. The parts fit perfectly. The how-to video was easy to follow. 

I watched the 2 minute video several times during the 45 minutes it took Mr to repair. My roller system didn't look exactly like the video but I got it done. Bonus-the new parts are metal and much more durable 

Myself. Ordered upper dishrack. Remove old replace with new. 

Very simple! Went onto the website, pulled up the model number and make of my dishwasher. I was thrilled that there were schematics that were easy to find the parts needed and all my parts were in stock! Ordered and paid, parts arrived the next day! In less than 1/2 hour, I replaced all 4 of my upper tub wheel assemblies, slid in my new tracks, and capped the back ends on! Next, I followed the video of replacing the dishwasher food chopper and check valve and had my dishwasher up and running again in less than 1 hour! This repair was a breeze! Not bad for a 60+ year old lady! 

Replaced support wheels, riser kit and rack slides. Works like new! 

They were able to point me out to where the pump was without me having to tear everything apart to find it. It was frozen because it hadn’t been ran in 5 years. Didn’t even end up needing a part. BUT since they were so helpful with the whole process, I ordered a new rail for my top rack (something that snapped off a several years back). Their customer service is phenomenal and I will order from them in the future!!! 

Myself, which is surprising as I'm NOT handy. ONE issue - the part was correct and has to 'end' items. (stoppers really). It does NOT come with the back stopper which was somewhat of a problem. I had kept the old part and pried the back stop (which is trouble for someone like me) It required bandaids etc.... but hey, I got it done. PLEASE consider including the 'back stop' when shipping this track. It would really help. 

Replaced both tracks on the upper dishrack. 

The installation of the track and the wheels were very easy. I watched the videos on the website and followed through. Very impressed and will order from this website again if needed.
