How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6015949 / WPW10159839 Valve-Inlt

I replaced the inlet valve. It was really easy. It works great now. 

Had to replace the valve assembly. Have to add that I ordered this part on Tuesday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday afternoon (without paying for express shipping) 

I pushed the fridge away from the wall, turned off the water, and removed the old part. Removing the old part was difficult because of calcium buildup, so the lines had to be cut away from the old part. The new part installation was very simple. I didn't quite get the new lines in as tightly as I should have the first time, and the new part initially leaked a bit, but that was an easy fix. This was about a week ago and now the fridge is working better than ever. 

Replaced the inlet valve. The video was very helpful. Thank you for having the part. 

Fixed with a new water valve-Inlt which was a perfect match. 

Replaced ice maker and valve-init. Followed video and the replacement was so simple. The instructions were clear and concise. I also discussed the problem with several techs who were informative and concerned. If I ever have an appliance part failure the first thing I will do is contact AppliancePartsPros for assistance.

Pulled up a YouTube video and did what I was told.
