So I have a Whirlpool Refrigerator, about 8 Years old. As I know from being a Handy Guy, these Ice Makers never Last. Someday they will perfect that technology as they perfected cars over my 55 Plus Years. Anyway, the ice maker stopped making ice. I always keep 2 of everything in my shop. I installed the new one, still had a problem. I shorted out v and m, I believe and ice maker went through its cycle. Hmmm, whats next? Water--bought new 1/4 water lines, connected them, went through the cycle again. Hmm, no water. Then I went to a place I "Swear By", YOU TUBE. I looked at multiple videos and got educated on this so called intake valve. First thing I did was to disconnect the old valve. Got my Multimeter out, tested ohms on both valves and got "no defection on one". Of course this tells me the other is shot. I ordered a new intake valve from you guys. Checked it when I got it. Installed the valve, plugged everything in, shorted out the Ice Maker and Whammo--Here comes the water. I also checked the cold water supply in the fridge and again I had water. All done, good product you sold me. Now onto the next problem, whatever that may be, as a Homeowner, LOL.
