Two problems needed addressing: 1) Lower door seal had failed allowing water to leak from lower front door area. 2) Water inlet valve would not shut off completely, allowing dishwasher to slowly fill with clean water, which caused water to leak via the bad lower seal previously mentioned.
The initial problem was the bad lower door seal. While the replacement part was reasonably priced, the repair seemed rather involved since the dishwasher needed to be removed and the door panel as well as the door itself be removed from the unit in order to allow the seal to be replaced. Using the repair video made performing the repair very straight forward and it was easy to follow along step by step, which made something that seemed daunting and very involved to become very achievable. Replacing the water inlet valve was also simplified via the repair video tips and guidance. I also replaced the door gasket for good measure. All together doing these repairs myself took only a couple of hours saved me hundreds of dollars having it repaired or replacing the dishwasher outright.
