After looking in the lower access panel I could see that one of the drum support rollers was shot. I watched the video on the website and it looked easy to do repair. It was! The parts got to me unbelievably fast! I ordered them at 3:30PM on a Friday and had the parts the next day! Awesome service guys! Anyway after receiving the parts I followed the instructions in the video to take the dryer apart to replace the rollers. They came in pairs so like it says, best to replace them both while you're in there. I also thoroughly vacuumed out the inside of the dryer, including the motor while it was apart. This took longer than the repair. It was a piece of cake and didn't take long at all to repair. I also replaced the drum belt since it had cracks showing on the ribbed side. Unfortunately I didn't notice the belt cracking until a half hour after I had placed the order for the rollers. I did an online chat with a customer service rep who cancelled my order for me so I could make a new order including the belt. This saved me from paying double shipping. So I would say take it all apart, take lots of pictures as you go, and make sure you order all the parts you will need to make the repair. If you watch the video relating to your particular problem pretty much anyone who's mechanically inclined should be able to fix it with no problem. Great website with wonderful how-to videos! Great customer service! Fastest shipping ever! Also the prices were better than the appliance parts place in my town. They wanted to charge me more for parts that were not genuine Whirlpool parts. As long as these parts have lasted I didn't want to take a chance with any non-genuine parts in my dryer! I can't recommend "Appliance Parts Pros" enough!
