Scott M Orange , CA October 03, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL LG5201TW0 Whirlpool dryer wouldn't run I'd replaced the motor that I purchased here about a month ago. It worked fine for a few weeks, then it just stopped and wouldn't start. I searched on the Internet and found the 3 most likely culprits. Since the dryer is 24+ years old, I decided to just purchase all 3 and replace them. The dryer cycling thermostat was different than the original, so I didn't replace it. 20 minutes and I had the dryer thermal fuse and thermostat replaced and the dryer functioning. I ordered the parts on Sunday night and had them Tuesday morning and that was just standard shipping. You can't beat that. 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
