Kerry M Sheffield Lake , OH December 04, 2017 Appliance: Frigidaire Dryer FEQ332ES0 Squeaking drum not really drying Thought it was a belt, it was the drum bearings and also the exhaust tube seal was gone. Belt was fine (replaced it anyway) The video to replace the drum bearing was INCREDIBLE, very easy and had the great advice of using an old screw to thread the unthreaded new piece. Anything other than the belt, remove the drum, have found it's quite easy to do and opens up the entire dryer. USE WORK GLOVES, still have a huge cut on my hand from the drum. Read More... Monica J Siloam Springs , AR March 13, 2022 My 17 year old dryer suddenly began rumbling After looking up trouble shooting videos online, I determined it must be the blower wheel. There was no squeak and the heat was still working. After watching a video I saw that taking apart the dryer was very simple. There was a ton of lint and fuzz all over, but I found the Blower Wheel looked good. However the Exhaust tube seal had rotted over time as well as the foam seal. ( I had already replaced the hose at the back of the dryer that had some holes.) When I put it back together it still rattled. Took it apart again and decided to remove the drum this time to see if there was something else behind the drum that caused the noise. I removed the large metal ring at the back of the drum and it was also full of fuzz. The drum bearing collar looked good so I re-greased the bearing with white lithium grease and put it all back together. It worked! Read More... John M Port Saint Lucie , FL February 12, 2016 Appliance: Model TWO DIFFERENT APPLIANCES Within the past 3 weeks i ordered twice once was a handle for my oven door and then for 5 knobs for my dryer The oven door was slightly complicated due to the "glass" sliding away and the "ears" at the bottom of the door bending, but some "duct tape" held it in place while I attached the new handle (after having straightened the ears and placing the glass in the correct position). The best part was that both orders arrived before the projected delivery date. One took 2 days and the other took 1 1/2 days from time of order. Unbelievable. Read More...
