I am a 76 year old woman and hesitated to tackle the job. But my son sent me a Utube video "how to replace the board," and I was able to replace it, surprisingly, quite easily. Cleaned/ soaked all burners in Ammonia and scraped off the remaining with a pumice stone. Oiled all screws. Replaced (4) ignitors or electrodes and module kit/ right front burner/ burner switch harness. Although this was the third order of switches from 3 different places including the local supplier due to the switches being manufactured upside down and lit on low on the first attempt. The actual replacement part number for my oven was WB21X5301, which costs $84.26, but this part actually fits perfectly (same hole sizes and position, same probe length, same resistance), and is less than 1/4 the price. Just removed the old probed and installed the new one. Read more

I ordered the 8 inch Haliant Element from Appliance Parts Pro with overnight shipping (I needed to have it working for Easter weekend!) and it arrived when promised and in perfect condition! Found the correct racks on Appliance Parts.com. They shipped as promised. When I received them, however, I couldn't figure out how to replace the top rack. Didn't know how to get the end cap off Sooo - I went back on the website and watched the repair video and voila - was easy. This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. From YouTube videos I was sure the issue was a blown igniter. There were numerous examples of how to replace the igniter on YouTube and the repair was pretty easy. Getting at the igniter was a bit awkward and I had to disconnect gas to get access to back of oven but the whole process only took 20-25 minutes. Read more

Removed light cover. oven was above range type and light assbly is at rear bottom of unit. access and visibility of bulb sockets a bit difficult, Usen hand hell mirror to assist . Bulb extraction and insertion a snap. Read more
