From YouTube videos I was sure the issue was a blown igniter. There were numerous examples of how to replace the igniter on YouTube and the repair was pretty easy. Getting at the igniter was a bit awkward and I had to disconnect gas to get access to back of oven but the whole process only took 20-25 minutes. Read more

The machine stopped working with a bang. There were chunks of large metal at the bottom. The drive plate had rusted through. My first step was to put a rag in the tub drain hole and save the pump. Except for grinding/chiseling off a frozen-corroded-rusty solid mass. The repair was rather easy. A couple of channel lock wrenches and a hammer didn't budge it. Disconnected dishwasher and moved it out from under the counter. Found that the left side door spring cable was not connected to the spring. The plastic end of the cable was broken off. I went on line and read your advice page. Based on that, I removed the damper assembly (six screws counting the miserable light fixture) and found the damper door broken as predicted. I went back to your page and ordered the new part. Nice breakdown to get number. After that, I disassembled the damper assembly, found that the ABS plastic damper had broken from the actuator probably as a result of fatigue from cycling back and forth for twelve years. Minor assembly for removing water sprayer from old top rack and attaching to the new rack. Took 10 minutes tops and we were back up and running. Read more

Found the correct racks on Appliance Parts.com. They shipped as promised. When I received them, however, I couldn't figure out how to replace the top rack. Didn't know how to get the end cap off Sooo - I went back on the website and watched the repair video and voila - was easy. I reseached these error codes and compared them to others problems. After deciding that I was gonna order the part and fix it myself I was at ease to find out it took 10min to fix! And it actually worked! The washer was pausing during cycles, cloths were soaking wet, spin cycle only worked on drain and spin at the end of the Ioad (it would spin slowly otherwise), soap dispenser still had the soap in it or it would be filled with water after the cycle was over. I replaced the water level switch and hose. After removing the hose, I found that it was clogged, and did not allow the water level to be sensed by the switch. A test after the replacement of the parts was successful. While filling the tub, the water shut off at the small, medium, and large levels as indicated by the switch. Read more

With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct. I ordered the parts and all arrived the next day except for the Broiler element which arrived in 2 days. I installed the new Baking Element myself. Took longer to figure out which curcuit braker to turn off. In about 30 minutes I had a brand new Baking Element in my oven working perfectly. On the following day, I installed the Broiler Element.
