Over time, the control setting markers on this part could wear off so that they can no longer be seen. Replacement touch pad with control panel buttons for your dishwasher. Installs on the door exterior. Needed when buttons are unresponsive or damaged.
Removed and unplugged dishwasher. Opened door and peeled off touch pad. Removed the screws that held the door together. Gently separated the inner and outer parts of the door. Removed the cable for touch pad. Fed new touch pad cable into door from top. And pressed cable back into fitting. Reassembled door. Plugged dishwasher back in and reinstalled into cabinet.
