Michael S Boca Raton , FL June 08, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator ZISS420DMA Refrig: no water busted water tank Had to remove all three food drawers and the back panel behind the drawers (4 screws). The water tank comes with the associated tubing which would typically require access to the back of the fridge to run the new lines. Instead I clipped the existing lines inside the fridge. Then I clipped the lines off the new tank so they would line up with the old lines. I then used a 5/16" OD compression coupling (Lowes or Home Depot) to connect the ends of the tubing together. The joined tubes are hidden behind the panel and are water and pressure tight. This was MUCH easier than pulling the fridge and rerunning 10ft of tubing. Binh N Katy , TX February 06, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator ZISS480DRASS Water leaking inside fridge I have a GE Monogram fridge that had a water leak inside the fridge. Removed all of the storage bins and the back shields to expose the water tank. The water tank had a water seal leak on the top side and squirted water when the water dispenser was used. Checked internet videos on the general repair, which did not seem hard. Took the challenge and checked internet for best price. Order the parts (WR17X11176 & WR02X11330) on Saturday and the arrived on Tuesday. Turned off the water and power. Removed the leaking tank out, cutting the two lines where it is attached to the old tank. Cut the new tank water lines to length and attached the existing water lines to the new tank with two union connectors. Turned on the water and power. Flushed the tank a few times to check for leaks. Put everything back together. Simple and easy repair. Save a good chunk of money with this DIY. Although some may have been working properly, I decided to replace all three to be sure, cheaper than calling a repair man. You may all require two union connectors (5/16"), part number AP3414915 if this is the first time repair the tank. Don't forget a six pack of beer, makes the job go easier. Douglas S Ft. Myers Beach , FL March 09, 2016 Appliance: Model GE - ZISS360DMAS Water leaking from cracked reservoir and water freezing from broken damper Removed the lower panel covering the water reservoir and connected the new part to the existing water line connections. Very easy. Replacing the dampers is trickier as they are behind the housing behind the quick chill drawer. Hardest part is getting the old double-sided sticky foam off and then putting it back on. Also the alignment of the new sticky foam to the holes in the duct to the freezer is tricky - there isn't a lot of space to slide the damper assemblies in and the foam can stick in the wrong place before the diffuser assembly is aligned properly. Patience and care required. Dealing with Appliance Parts Pros was great. Very helpful and responsive!!
