  • Addresses uneven heating or visible hot spots on the coil
  • Replaces elements with visible breaks, blistering, or burned terminals
What's included: One 6-inch surface coil element. Installation notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the cooktop to cool completely before servicing
  • For plug-in coil models: lift the element, pull straight out of the receptacle, and remove from the support/drip pan
  • Align the new element's terminals with the receptacle, push firmly until fully seated, and set into the support
  • Inspect the receptacle and wiring for heat damage and replace any compromised components before use
