- Reduces fabric bunching and helps improve air exposure for more even drying
- Prevents garments from riding on the drum seam and reduces rubbing/snags
- Can stop or reduce thumping or uneven tumbling when a worn baffle is the cause
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before beginning work
- Installation typically requires opening the dryer's front or top panel and rotating/removing the drum—follow your model's service manual
- Keep track of fasteners and note baffle orientation; replace any damaged clips or screws
- Wear gloves and eye protection; watch for sharp edges and pinch points during reassembly

The Lint Filter Grille is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. This grille covers and secures the lint filter, ensuring it stays in place to effectively trap lint and debris during the drying cycle. The grille measures approximately 21 inches by 7 inches.
You should replace the lint filter grille if it becomes damaged or worn out. Causes of a bad lint filter grille can include regular wear and tear from frequent use, physical damage from handling, or brittleness due to prolonged exposure to heat.
Symptoms of a bad lint filter grille include:
- The lint filter not staying securely in place
- Excessive lint buildup inside the dryer drum or vent
- Visible cracks or breaks in the grille
- Difficulty inserting or removing the lint filter
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Over time the filter grille warped from heat dryer sheets would slip between the grille and would clog the filter Stephen F. • Crawfordville , FL • September 26, 2016
There are just two phillip head screws that hold it in place. There are also a couple of pronged metal sensors that pop out/in place. When I was cleaning the area before replacing the grille I accidentally bumped the electric clip for the sensors and it fell back into the dryer. I was able to bend a coat hanger to retrieve the wires. Other than that it was a very simple procedure.

This axial motor assembly drives a cooling fan to move air through the appliance, helping protect internal components from heat. Replacing a worn or noisy unit restores ventilation and reduces heat-related shutdowns or performance issues.
- Circulates air across heat-generating parts to dissipate heat
- Helps maintain stable operating temperature and protect electronics
- Failure signs can include the fan not running, intermittent operation, loud or grinding noise, overheating, or a burning smell
- Inadequate airflow may trigger thermal cutoffs or nuisance shutdowns
What's included: One axial motor assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; allow hot components to cool
- Access the motor location and note wire positions; take photos for reference
- Transfer any brackets or grommets from the old unit if required; keep wiring clear of the fan path
- After mounting, hand-spin the fan to ensure free movement before restoring power and checking airflow
