The Lower Front Felt Seal is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. This seal prevents hot air from escaping the dryer drum, ensuring optimal drying efficiency and preventing heat loss. It also helps reduce noise and vibration during operation.
Causes of a faulty lower front felt seal can include wear and tear over time, damage from foreign objects or excessive heat, or adhesive failure. These factors can result in air leakage, increased drying time, or excessive lint buildup.

Having performed this same maintenance 5 years ago I was familiar with the process which is fairly straightforward.
