Loud dishwasher producing dirty dishes Leon F. • Sylmar , CA • November 11, 2015
I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again.

Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor Samuel M. • Sudbury , MA • January 12, 2016
1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed...

Door not catching no power Bryan H. • Spanish Fort , AL • September 06, 2015
Assessed the situation and determined that the metal strike was broken. The unit did not work and no power due to this. Looked up the part with the model number and installed in less than 10 minutes. Unit worked immediately. The two screws require a star wrench or small nut driver for removal. Very easy!

Replacement of rusty inner basket Michael K. • Paramus , NJ • April 18, 2015
Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros - super fast shipping, and even though I opted for regular shipping all of my parts arrived the very next day, including the big and bulky inner basket. Disassembly went smoothly, simply following the directions in the AppliancePartsPros video. The only problem I had was that the inner basket simply would NOT come of the drive block no matter what I did. Struggled for a few hours trying to take it off. Then, I called AppliancePartsPros and they said it...

"lock on" light was blinking on dishwasher indicating a stuck button on the control panel Chris S. • Houston , TX • April 29, 2014
I did some research online and figured out that I needed to replace the control module. I tried the other possible solutions first but they did not work. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. I had to remove the back panel on the door of the dishwasher with a screwdriver and Torx bit to access the module. Two screws held the module in place. There were numerous wires and plugs to change over. I did those one at a time to make sure I put them in the new module correctly. Once...
