I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

The top had to be removed but with the unit being 14 years old, galvanic corrosion had seized the screws holding the Burner Heads to the Orifices. I carefully drilled out the heads of the screws until the Burner heads could be pulled free. I removed the two screws that held the Burner control assembly with all the gas valves in place. Got information from a repairman to use a multi-meter to see if the ignitors were drawing 3+ amps through the gas safety valve. They weren't. Took the bottom plate of each oven out and removed the gas burner with the ignitor attached. Unscrewed the ignitors, replaced with new one. The replacements were an exact match, no splicing or wire nuts, just unplug the old ones, plug in the new one and reassemble everything. Took about 10 minutes per oven. I ordered a new door glass from appliancepartspro.com it came within two days, but I forgot to order the 8 pieces of foam tape, assuming it would also be included in with the order, it wasn't, so after waiting for that to arrive, it was fairly easy, job after watching the video.
