Jennifer September 16, 2011 My dishwasher stopped working mid-cycle (water started, but soap hadn't dispensed) when I checked on it. Tried to restart, but no lights would come on. Checked circuit breaker....ok. I ordered and received new on/off switch and door latch with processor. Replaced on/off switch and tested new part, but didn't put door back together...still no power. Got ready to replace door latch, but part looks very different from original. Will wait for husband to try to replace this part. Do you think one of these two parts is likely the problem? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Jennifer. It could be the latch, but sounds like the control module 00481055 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
Jennifer September 16, 2011 for Model Number Shu9915 uc/11 Our replacement part does not look like the original. Is this correct? How do we install new part? Also can you check part without closing up front panel? I am sure you recommend closing for safety, but can it be done or must it be closed up? Thank you.
2 Answers Hi Jennifer. If You are extreemly careful you can use the new latch provided to "trip" the latch. Then you can tell if the micro switches for L-1 (hot) and neutral (white)are opening and closing on demand. The latch assy. is part # 00419828. Thank you. Read More...

2 Answers Hello Jennifer. Yes, based on the model number you provided, 00419828 is the correct latch assembly. Remove fascia panel from console by removing four (4) T-20 Torx screws. Remove the console and access the latch assembly. Remove the old latch assembly and install the new one. Reinstall in reverse order. Do not run the dishwasher without it reinstalled and complete. Hope this helps. Read More...
