Grant February 04, 2013 for Model Number WFMC3301uc-09 What is the resistance of this motor if it is operating correctly? Mine says 18.5 ohms. We have a E04 error code and could not find any blockages in any of the drain pipes or trap. Have removed the pump and the impeller rotates. Is the pump the most likely problem? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Grant, The pump motor resistance should range from 140 to 200 ohms. The E04 error code looks to be either faulty door lock or control board. Read More...
Bmamer November 12, 2012 for Model Number wfmc3301 Do I access part 436440 from the front or rear? If the front how do I remove the front panel?
1 Answer Hi. Drain Pump Motor Assembly Part Number:00436440. To remove drain pumps:•Remove front panel•Loosen and remove hoses•Disconnect wire harness•Carefully slide pump toward rear of washer, then lift it out of washer (taking care to not damage the four rubber feet). HINT: Drain pumps are mounted on four rubber feet to dampen vibration & noise. To remove drain pumps, carefully slide them toward rear of washers. To install them, carefully insert all four feet into notches in washer base, then slide them forward. Thank You. Read More...
Melinda November 06, 2012 for Model Number WFMC2201US-6 I have been having trouble with my washer. It will wash the cloths and when it gets to the spin cycle it wont engage and start to spin. I have to turn off the washer unplug it and then turn it back on and set it to the spin cycle and it may or may not start to spin it takes a lot to get the spin cycle to start. I have cleaned the drain and all the hoses are clear but it wont spin out the water. When we take the front drain off to clean it out A LOT of water comes out so it is almost like the pump isnt working. We are getting the E04 error message. Sometimes when it spins it wont spin all the water out of the cloths. Any help and information on what might be going on would be appreciated. Thanks

Leaking Pump Jr. April 28, 2012 for Model Number WFMC2100UC/02 Water Leaks from the bottom of my machine. I took it apart to look for clogs or holes in the hoses and could not find anything that would cause the leaking. Is it possible my hard water has damaged the pump so that the leak could be coming from the pump itself? The fan seems to work but it does make some rattling noise when it spins without water and a visual inspection shows the fan blades temporarily stop for a split second every few seconds. Is replacing the pump my only option?
1 Answer Leaking Pump Jr. Yes, your pump could have a distorted shaft seal and could be leaking onto the washer base panel. Based on your post description, that's a good place to start Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
