Jude G May 01, 2015 for Model Number Thermador Single Wall Oven S272T We have a Thermador Single Wall Oven (no convection) believed to be about 12-15 years old. Could not locate a Model Number on the unit, but we have the original Care & Use Manual showing our model as S272T. The unit's digital display is now so dim as to be virtually unreadable. The touchpad appears to be working fine, and the controls can be used to set the oven bake/broil temperatures, which also seems to be working as expected. Question is whether the digital display can be replaced, and if so, is it likely that this will fix the problem as described? Thanks for your assistance.
Hugh P April 08, 2015 for Model Number Bosch double oven HBN755AUC/01 My service man has replaced the relays and problem still exists. He suggests that the only thing that could be wrong is to replace the display board. The model number for this board is 489262. Can you help source the part??

Patrick January 25, 2015 for Model Number Thermador S301TS My oven won't preheat consistently to 400 or takes forever. The repairman over the phone said its the relay which is in part AP4929088 for a single oven. Is this correct? Could it be something else?
1 Answer Patrick, Yes, it is most likely a relay on the control board, but the other possibility could be an oven temp. sensor that is out of range or erratic 00414152. Unfortunately the sensor has been discontinued by the manufacturer and there is no substitute part listed. Read More...
Ron September 02, 2014 for Model Number SMW272 I have just ordered your repair kit part# AP4929088 for my Thermador single oven. From the pictures on your site, it appears that the control panel or relay board comes without the face of the panel which is the touch pad. If this is so, how does the old control panel become detached from the face, as it appears to be fixed to the tempered glass panel?
1 Answer Ron, Once you access the control board, you will need to remove the screws that hold the control board in place. Read More...
Greg July 31, 2014 for Model Number SMW272YP Before purchasing, I wanted to be sure this would be compatible with SMW272YP. The search brings this up, but the cross reference tool says not compatible. I had a repairman out this week to fix my oven that won't get hot. Of course it got hot after he took it apart, but now it won't get hot again. He did say that it could be the relay, and that replacing the control board would fix it. Display works fine. Warming drawer works fine. Just the single oven will not heat.
1 Answer Hello Greg, We owe you an apology since the compatibility tool is still in work and is not recognizing all of the model and/or part numbers. The compatibility tool should be disregarded. Your control board should be replaced since this sounds like an intermittent relay failure. Read More...
Bruce May 18, 2014 for Model Number 4372949 I installed the control board and display. When I throw the circuit breaker on there is not power to the oven. I am hoping that it is something simple having to do with the connection from the control board to the sensor pad. Can you help me?
1 Answer Hello Bruce, You need to check for power at the terminal block of the unit which should be accessible through the control panel. If it is there, I would suspect a thermal cut out. I would go into detail but the model number you listed is not a valid number. If you could re-post with the model number from the units' I.D. tag, we can look up the wiring diagram and assist you more accurately. Read More...
