David May 10, 2018 for Model Number WTMC6300CN/01 My electric dryer will turn on for about a minute and then shut off by itself. When shut off the display panel was still lit up. There is heat in the dryer.
1 Answer Hello David. If you have to wait a few minutes before the dryer will start back, then the motor 00436441 is bad in the unit. Make sure the drum is not binding. If not, then its the motor. The motor has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More...

Tested resistance on temp regulator at 7 on 20k... can't figure out whats going on please help.
1 Answer Jacob, With the display showing 0:00 then this will most likely be an issue with the control module of the unit which is part number 00666016. Read More...
1 Answer Rod, You will want to check the venting from the blower wheel to the outside of the home to make sure that the venting is clear. If this checks ok then the cycling thermostat would be the issue. If no thermostat then the thermistor would be the issue. Read More...
Garry October 08, 2015 for Model Number WTMC3521uc I have a gas dryer that quit heating and when it happened you could smell gas in the dryer drum right after the igniter glowed and shut off. I tested the coils on the gas valve and they tested good. It does not mean they could not fail after a load has been put on them. I replaced them and the problem still exits. I did replace the igniter as I was told that it could heat and not draw enough load to completely turn the gas valve on. I replace the igniter and still not heat. Here is the odd thing. If I disconnect the burner box at the rear of the machine from where it goes into the drum and leave about 1 inch gap the dry will go through the cycle and heat and then the flame will just barley light and then it looks like it comes on full power. The dryer will run through its cycle and dry the cloths. I believe that the gas valve. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
1 Answer Hello Garry, You will need to replace the coils on the unit. It sounds like they are failing under a load. Read More...
Doug June 10, 2015 for Model Number WTA3500UC 81/11 I bought a temperature limiter from you after reading your answer to a coustomer about what the ohm reading should be at room temperature . Well i just got my new part and it reads open / infinity . So what is the correct way to check this temperature limiter P/N 00163297 ?
1 Answer Hello Doug. It sounds like your meter may be set wrong or a bad meter. The sensor should read 9-11K ohms at 77° per the manufacturer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

1 Answer Al S, You will want to check the venting of the unit and make sure that the venting is clear. If the venting checks ok then the most likely cause for this issue would be a faulty thermistor which is part number 00422221. Read More...
John M January 14, 2015 for Model Number WTMC6500UC Bosch gas drier I keep getting error code E01, without Lint Filter indicator light illuminating. The Lint Filter and duct work were thoroughly cleaned. If I turn the program selector switch off and back on the drier will then operate as normal. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello John. This is a venting error code. Make sure the lint filter is good and clean and check all the venting both inside and outside the dryer. If everything is good, then replace the NTC sensor 00422221. Read More...
David February 11, 2014 for Model Number Bosch WTMC6300US/01 My electric dryer will not operate. When the cycle knob is turned to any setting, regular, damp, etc., a beeper beeps and the lint filter indicator lite comes on. I have disassembled the unit and cleaned out entire lint system as well as the filter. Is there a sensor I need to replace? David
1 Answer Hello David, When the lint alarm goes off, it is an indication of poor air circulation and the exhaust duct should be checked for crimps and/or obstructions. Also, if the “lint filter” light won’t turn off, clean the lint filter (by hand) with dish soap and water. The lint filter is very fine and can be clogged over time when fabric softener or softener sheets are used. Read More...
