Ralph July 23, 2020 for Model Number Thermador RDDS30V The front left burner has quit working. The igniter seems to be working, but the burner doesn't ignite like it's not getting (natural) gas. The other 3 burners all work fine. Thanks!
1 Answer Ralph, if the flame is not able to be lit with a match, the issue would likely either be with a clogged orifice that can be cleaned using a small safety pin, or there could be an issue with one of the gas flow parts. With the gas supply turned off, the solenoid valve 00411253 can be tested for voltage and should measure between 85 to 105VDC when the switch is turned on. If the voltage is there, the solenoid has failed and would need to be replaced. If the voltage is not there, the wiring would need to be inspected for any breaks. If there are no breaks, the simmer controller and potentiometer kit 00497235 would need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued this kit and it is no longer available. Mj December 14, 2019 for Model Number rdfs30qs I have an older Thermador rdfs30qs, serial # 95100744. This is the model # that is hand written in our owners manual. We want to change it from propane to natural gas now that we have nat. gas plumbed into our home. Is this possible with this model range? If so what are the orifice #s needed and do I also need to change the pressure regulator or adjust it? Thank you and no hurry.
1 Answer MJ, The manufacturer does not offer a kit to go from LP to Natural. The only way to do this would be to change the orifices on the orifice holder which all have appeared to have been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...

Rocco S. October 18, 2018 for Model Number Bosch gas range Hgs232uc/01 Two of the four orifices on the top burners keep getting clogged and I use a thin wire to clear them. I was thinking of replacing all four orifices with new ones. I know each one is a different size orifice. What are the four different Parts numbers? This is for natural gas.
1 Answer Hello Rocco, Replacing them will not prevent them from stopping up. This is caused by spills on the cooktop and new ones will do the same. The orifices are not available individually. They have to be ordered with the orifice holder assemblies 00423485, 00423486, 00423487, and 00423488. Read More...
David W October 18, 2018 for Model Number SGCS365RB Im not getting a spark on my hi/low burner. I can hear the clicking trying to ignite the gas (no gas) What part do I need to replace?
1 Answer David, You will want to make sure that you are getting voltage to the gas solenoid and if there is but no gas then the solenoid would be the issue. The part number for the solenoid is 00411253. Read More...

Irving January 25, 2017 for Model Number SGCS304RS I'm replacing a venturi jet on this cooktop, as the old one was "locked" in place, due to years of corrosion. What can I put on the threads of the new venturi jet to insure this doesn't happen next time? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Irving, While there is no guarantee it will not seize, you should put some Lubriplate White Lithium Grease TJ20000030 on the threads befor putting the new orifices into the orifice holders. This will help prevent thread seizure. Read More...
