  • Engages the dispenser micro switch to initiate ice or water dispensing
  • Provides the user-facing paddle/lever in the dispenser recess
  • Helps the dispenser return to its rest position after you release
  • Common symptoms: no dispense when pressed, intermittent response, broken/loose paddle, sticking or continuous dispense if jammed
What's included: 1 dispenser actuator Install notes:
  • Unplug the refrigerator and shut off the water supply before servicing
  • Carefully remove the dispenser trim/escutcheon to access the actuator; protect the finish and avoid breaking locking tabs
  • Note spring and pivot orientation; transfer any reusable hardware to the new actuator
  • Reassemble, restore power/water, and test both ice and water dispensing
