Albert, if the compressor is operating continuously, it would be recommended that the evaporator is inspected to identify what kind of frost pattern there is. If there is little to no frost on the evaporator, this would be a sealed system failure that would require an EPA-certified technician to diagnose and repair. If there is heavy frost, the issue would be the unit not defrosting which can be tested by testing the defrost circuit.

Steve, Unfortunately, there is no video for installing the main power board. To do this you would need to remove the kickplate at the bottom of the unit. Look under the left side and the board will be there in a box. Remove the 1/4" screw that is holding it in place and slide it out. There will be a cover over the wires at the end that you will need to take off and then disconnect the wires and plug into the new one. Reinstall in reverse.

Tommy Miller for Model Number LPHS2687KF0

My name is Tommy Miller and I have the Frigidaire (LPHS2687KF0) Refrigerator "For cycling on and off with a beep about 20 + times now." You suggested to replace the main control board. What is the Part Number for that board and is there any other boards I need to replace? I see other suggesting to replace the main control board along with the display board due to not working with the old board? And if so do you also have the Part Number that board also. I sure appreciate your help!

Tommy for Model Number LPHS2687KF0

My name is Tommy Miller and I have a Frigidaire (LPHS2687KF0) Refrigerator. It started cycling on and off with a beep about 5 to 7 times. Each time it shut off display indicator lights also shut off (with no error codes) along with the lights in side the refrigerator. Then all of a sudden it started running and has been running fine for about a day. This morning I heard it doing the same thing again all over again. Each time it seems to run fine (including making ice) for a while and then repeat the process. Do you have any suggestion what I should order or what maybe starting to fail? Maybe main board?

Tommy, It would be recommended to check the power supply to make sure that you are not losing power at that outlet. If this checks ok then the main control board should the issue.

Darin, The mainboard powers everything on the unit and the power board will be for like the icemaker and some smaller stuff but everything goes through the mainboard. The main control board is what controls the defrost.

Mesa, this error code is going to indicate a communication error between the main control and user interface. You will want to test the main control at connection J9A pin 1 (red probe) to pin 3 (black probe) for 12VDC. Then you will want to test pin 2 (red probe) to pin 3 (black probe) for a return voltage which will be a fluctuating voltage. If there is voltage going out from pin 1 and coming back in from pin 2, then you will want to change the main control 5303918498. If there is not voltage going out from pin 1 then you will want to change the main control. If pin 1 is sending 12VDC but there is no return voltage on pin 2, then you will want to change the user interface control 241973711.
