Alan November 04, 2022 for Model Number PHSC39EESS5 I have a Frigidaire PHSC39EESS5, side by side refrigerator. The reading on the digital readout on the refrigerator side show are 0 for the freezer and 33 for the refrigerator. The real temperatures are 12 and 45. The thermister has been replaced and did not fix it. Would the main control board be the next item to check or the display board ?
1 Answer Hello Alan, The Main Control Board 241511111 would be the next step in temperature control in the scenario described. Read More...
Albert December 19, 2021 for Model Number PHSC239DSB3 Hi, The refrigerator and the freezer are both running warm around 43 and 70 degrees. I replaced the Main board # 241511102 but both are still running warm. Also, every so often the temperature will show 0 and 37 degrees for a few minutes. What do you guys suggest?
1 Answer Albert, if the compressor is operating continuously, it would be recommended that the evaporator is inspected to identify what kind of frost pattern there is. If there is little to no frost on the evaporator, this would be a sealed system failure that would require an EPA-certified technician to diagnose and repair. If there is heavy frost, the issue would be the unit not defrosting which can be tested by testing the defrost circuit. Read More...
Steve February 04, 2021 How do you install Part# 241511102 Power board. Is there a link you can send me.
1 Answer Steve, Unfortunately, there is no video for installing the main power board. To do this you would need to remove the kickplate at the bottom of the unit. Look under the left side and the board will be there in a box. Remove the 1/4" screw that is holding it in place and slide it out. There will be a cover over the wires at the end that you will need to take off and then disconnect the wires and plug into the new one. Reinstall in reverse. Read More...
Emile December 28, 2020 for Model Number PHSC39EHSS2 The fresh food side is not going below 40 degrees and I have it set on 33 degrees. Can you tell me how to check the sensor. I know the sensor should read so many ohms at a certain temperature.
1 Answer Emile, the refrigerator sensor 240597220 would be tested from the main control 241511102 at the connection J1 from the wire at pin 5 to the wire at pin 6. At 40°F the sensor should measure 26.04KO. Read More...

You suggested to replace the main control board. What is the Part Number for that board and is there any other boards I need to replace? I see other suggesting to replace the main control board along with the display board due to not working with the old board? And if so do you also have the Part Number that board also. I sure appreciate your help!

Tommy November 07, 2020 for Model Number LPHS2687KF0 My name is Tommy Miller and I have a Frigidaire (LPHS2687KF0) Refrigerator. It started cycling on and off with a beep about 5 to 7 times. Each time it shut off display indicator lights also shut off (with no error codes) along with the lights in side the refrigerator. Then all of a sudden it started running and has been running fine for about a day. This morning I heard it doing the same thing again all over again. Each time it seems to run fine (including making ice) for a while and then repeat the process. Do you have any suggestion what I should order or what maybe starting to fail? Maybe main board?
1 Answer Tommy, It would be recommended to check the power supply to make sure that you are not losing power at that outlet. If this checks ok then the main control board should the issue. Read More...
Darin August 18, 2020 for Model Number FGHB2866PF3 What's the difference between the Board-Main Power (242115283) and the Power Board (241891610)? Which one controls the automatic defrost cycle?

Mesa June 04, 2019 for Model Number FPHS2687KF1 the refrigerator clicks like it wants to start and shows SY CE on the display board.
1 Answer Mesa, this error code is going to indicate a communication error between the main control and user interface. You will want to test the main control at connection J9A pin 1 (red probe) to pin 3 (black probe) for 12VDC. Then you will want to test pin 2 (red probe) to pin 3 (black probe) for a return voltage which will be a fluctuating voltage. If there is voltage going out from pin 1 and coming back in from pin 2, then you will want to change the main control 5303918498. If there is not voltage going out from pin 1 then you will want to change the main control. If pin 1 is sending 12VDC but there is no return voltage on pin 2, then you will want to change the user interface control 241973711. Read More...
