This is a Frigidaire oven relay control board. This part is made for the double-oven wall design. The relay control board sends a signal to the main control board, causing the oven to turn on or off. These relay boards are engaged directly by the power button of the unit and the cooking timer. When the relay control board malfunctions or short circuits, the baking and broil functions will be directly affected. The oven may quit powering on altogether if the relay board completely fails. A short in the relay will cause the oven power to function correctly at random times. Wall ovens must be dismounted from their positions to install these parts. Once access is gained to the tear of the stove, the back panel can be removed. The relay control board is located near the bottom of the unit, close to the utility drawer. Unplug the connecting wires and engage the mounting clips holding the board. Discard the old unit, and replace it with the upgrade. Connect the cables and fasten the metal panel on the rear of the oven. Check for proper function before mounting the stove back into the wall. This is a genuine OEM product and is obtained directly from the manufacturer. This part is only compatible with Frigidaire wall ovens.

For Frigidaire Oven Relay Control Board (Part Number: OEM6381915)

Pia for Model Number HD17052U/09

Hi. My four year old Bosch electric oven (with gas range) is not heating well. At times it is taking too long to heat up at others it doesn't seem to reach the right temperature. I had it checked by a technician and they tell me I need to replace the relay board and the oven sensor. They want to charge me over $700 for this. I believe the expensive repair would be the relay board. How can I be sure both things are the problem? It seems strange that they both would have broken suddenly. What are the typical problems if a relay board needs to be changed? I've had no error signal showing up on the digital display.

Pia, If the relay board was the issue, we would expect the oven to heat constantly if the relay(s) on the board were "stuck" closed. If the relay were "stuck" open or broken, then the oven would not heat at all. At this point we wouldn't expect the 00657860 / 00657860 Power Module to be the issue. The Oven Temperature sensor 00422089 / 00422089 , can produce erratic temperatures and create similar situations as you described, especially after a self clean cycle, or if you broil a lot or high heat, extended bake cycles. Yes the Relay board would be quite a bit more expensive, than the sensor. You may want to start with the sensor first.

JR, You will want to test to see if there is 240 vac getting to the elements and if there is not then this will likely be a relay board issue. There are 2 relay boards on the unit and would need both as one is for the lower and one is for the upper.

Hello John. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. As for the issue, there is no fuse usually. This requires the main board to be replaced in the unit.

Hello Wylie. You will need to test for power from the main board to the element. If it is not there, replace the board 318022002.

Hello Tony, The first test that should be done is to flip the breaker to the unit off then back on at the breaker box of the home. If this does not correct the issue, check at the junction box for loose connections. Since the control has separate relays for the upper and lower ovens and for the bake and broil elements of each, the control will be located in the circuit after the actual issue.
