John G September 14, 2016 for Model Number FRA186MT2 Fan speed does not change from high to low, also compressor runs all the time. Do these 2 items caused by same problem or 2 different problems unit does cool any help how to troubleshoot this problem greatly appreciated thank you.
1 Answer John, The fan not switching from high to low would be a separate issue from the compressor in most cases. If the compressor will continue to run with the unit off then the issue will be a stuck relay on the control board in which the fan issue would most likely be caused by the main control board.
