Mike April 25, 2019 for Model Number FAFS4473LW0 I was getting error code E59 I replaced the motor control board. Ran great until end of cycle now I am getting code e57. What could it be now?
1 Answer Mike, the error e57 is indicating a high current on the inverter. What you will want to do is find out if the unit was overloaded. If not, remove the belt from the motor 134638900 and spin the motor pulley. If the motor does not spin freely then replace the motor. If it does spin freely, then you will want to spin the tub pulley. If the tub pulley does not spin freely then you will want to check the tub bearings 134956200. If it does spin freely then you will want to test the motor windings. Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings (pin 1 to pin 2, pin 1 to pin 3, pin 2 to pin 3). All readings should be between 3 and 6 Ohms. If the windings do not test good, then replace the motor. If they do test good, then you will want to check the wiring for any damage. Read More...
Jack Walsh April 23, 2018 for Model Number Frigidaire LAFW8000LW0 Won't start. Entered diagnostics, and got an E32 error code, which sources say is due to bad pressure sensor or main board. What are the part numbers for those parts? I can't tell which board is the "main" board. The door lock works fine, incidentally, which seems to be the problem with these machines most of the time. Please!!! Help!!! The appliance guys want $175 just to look at it!!!

Jeff October 24, 2017 for Model Number 417.41122410 Kenmore front load washer made by Frigidaire is experiencing disruptions in the cycles. No error codes present. During the test cycle, everything works fine. No apparent problems with the any of the wiring. Drain pump works fine sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. Door lock works fine every time. Not sure which way to handle this. Whether to replace motor control or main control. 14.2 ohms across the drain pump leads. Any suggestions as to what to do next? Thank you.

M.G. September 19, 2013 for Model Number FAFW4221LW0 Originally my washer wouldn't start, the door lock button wouldn't light up. I replace the door strike and the problem continued. I tried testing the wires to the door catch and for 120, in the process something went wrong there was a spark and the breaker tripped. Now nothing comes on. 1st question is there a fuse in the control box, 2nd question why wont the machine start.
1 Answer M. G., You will want to check to make sure that there is power getting to the control board. This would be checked on the J1 connector for 120 vac. If there is power to the control board but the power will not come on then you will need to replace the control.
