The diagram indicates the part number is F54A for both the right front and back switch. The left switches are F54A and F54B for back and front respectively. Can you confirm the part number for the right front control switch? Also, can you provide clear instructions for replacing the switch?

Pj T September 19, 2017 for Model Number LES389FEA Where can I find a replacement clear dark gray/black plastic cover to go over the LED on part 316441801 (surface element board)? A spill on the stove melted it away. I am replacing the element board with a new LED, but it does not come with the clear plastic cover. It appears to be attached to the backguard (part 19 in the manual, which is no longer available. Nothing else is wrong with the cover (backguard). I just need the small window covering which appears to be about 1" wide and 5/8" tall over the LED itself that seals it off. Can something else be used and glued in place on the underside of the backguard to cover the LED?
1 Answer PJ, Unfortunately that cover is part of the control panel which has been discontinued. There would not be a suitable part to replace this. Read More...

Keithb March 08, 2016 for Model Number CGLES389EB4 Our 2nd from left ring has ER in display (back left), the ring started to come on and my wife was unable to switch it off so I un-plugged from the mains. This message appeared when I plugged the stove back into the mains. What do I need to repair please and thank you.
1 Answer KeithB, With the element coming on by itself and staying on without being able to be shut off, this would be a faulty potentiometer. The part number that you would need is 316441801. Read More...
Donna February 28, 2016 for Model Number PLES389ECB Got an F-13 Error message on my range. I unplugged, waited and plugged back in. When I set the broiler, it shut down and got the same error message. I reset by umplugging and then plugging back in and set the stove to bake, and it allowed me to do this feature. Can you tell me what part I would need and the cost? Thanks so much Donna
1 Answer Hello Donna. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board 316418735 is bad on the unit. Read More...

Leonard S. April 19, 2015 for Model Number GLES389FSA I have a couple problems. This stove has had problems from the beginning. Part of the wiring harness has been replaced. When all the burners are running the circuit breaker under the control panel kicks out. The broiler hasn't worked for years. The latest is 3 of the burner displays show - - & don't work. The oven door is locked & oven doesn't work. The only thing that works is one burner. This latest problem started after liquid was spilled on the top.
1 Answer Leonard, For the first part of the question of the thermal overload tripping out under the unit, the main top of the unit does not have a circuit breaker or thermal cutoff for it. With the issues that you are having it sounds like it would be a faulty main control board that is not allowing the broil not to work and possible a wire harness issue between the display for the burners and the oven control board. It sounds like the thermal cutoff may be weak and need to be replaced. The control would likely be the issue with the door locking and cause the oven to not work. Read More...
Cathy April 10, 2015 for Model Number CPLES399EC7 My broiler is no longer working. I have been told it is the control panel. Which part do I need?
Pam October 19, 2014 for Model Number GLES389FBC Was using Self Clean and about 1/2 way thru ERR 30 and beeps started, I hit the clear button, it stopped beeping , however 4 hrs later the door is still locked and I can't use anything, even burners. I read it might be sensor probe, but don't know if that's on the back of this unit or inside? What part# is it? Also read it might be EOC-if so, what part# is that? Please help ASAP....thanks, Pam
1 Answer Pam, The Error code that you are receiving is most likely a open probe connection which you will want to check the resistance of the sensor at room temperature. The resistance should be 1090 ohms. If the resistance does not check ok then replace the sensor probe. If the resistance checks ok then check the sensor wiring harness between the EOC and sensor probe connector. Sensor is located in the oven. Read More...
