Sam April 06, 2019 for Model Number LFFH17F3QWA Freezer runs constantly ,keeps getting colder but will not shut off, is this a thermostat problem?
John October 01, 2018 for Model Number LFFH2067DW2 I'm replacing the original temperature control switch on this unit with a 5304513033 replacement with three leads. One green on the bottom, and a black, and purple. The new switch has terminals side by side, one slightly bent. which color goes on what terminal or does it matter.
1 Answer Hello John, Since this is an on/off switch and is not a polarized part, it will not matter which wire is connected to which location. Of course, the green has to be chassis ground and cannot be rotated into this mix. Read More...
Frank September 14, 2018 for Model Number LFFU2065DW2 Freezer runs and cools good. Then or when it shut off it won't come on. Move the control back and forth or on and off,it will start working fine for a day or two.Every time move the control it goes again.

Joel B August 17, 2015 for Model Number 25344733101 I have the kenmore freezer model 25344733101 and matching refrigerator pair, I am having problem with the freezer at ths time, the compressor does not humm at all, neither of the fans turn on. I just replaced the temperature control part # 297216033 (AP5805577) I still don't have power to the compressor. I checked the timer control an there is no power in either of the leads. the door lights are on as well as the interior lights. i can't find what the problem may be. I tested the defrost thermostat by putting it into another freezer once it froze up i had the correct readings. It opened and closed as expected. I also swapped the run capacitor and compressor control to the frig. It does work on the frig but not on the freezer. if you have any suggestions how to diagnose the problem i really appreciate your help. thank you. joel
1 Answer Joel, If the fans are not running and the lights are on then you will want to check the defrost timer on the unit. The part number for the defrost timer is 5304518034. If the defrost timer has stuck it will keep the unit from coming out of defrost. If the fan is running but the compressor is not running then the issue would be most likely a faulty relay. The start relay is part number 216954202. You can turn the dial on the defrost timer until it clicks to make sure that it is not stuck in defrost. Read More...
