Tbmatthews November 15, 2017 for Model Number 790.45662103 My oven is not heating at all. I wanted to know if the baking element has a section that burned through/separated will this cause the complete oven to stop working? Should I also replace the top cooking element and bulb because neither is on/working? Or are they not working because the baking element burned through. My stove is 13+ years old. Thanks in advance
1 Answer Hello TBMATTHEWS. Check and see if the breaker tripped when the element burnt out. The bulb and broil should still work if the bake element burns out. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Ben K September 26, 2017 for Model Number GLES388ASD I ordered the baking element (Part Number AP5590131) and when it came time to replace it the two (2) screws have been previously stripped and will need to be replaced. I can not determine what type of screw (thickness, length, type, etc.) need to be used since I will need to drill out the original ones. Please provide me with the correct type of screws to use to reattach the new baking element.
1 Answer Hello Ben. The only screw listed on the parts diagram is part number 5303211311. Thank you. Read More...

Danielle May 12, 2017 for Model Number Westinghouse KAA40XW1 I'm looking for a owners manual. My timer on the right side is messed up, and I don't know how to set it so my right side oven works. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Danielle, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the verified model number from the units' I.D. tag since it will not come up for us as a valid model number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Karen Kain February 04, 2017 for Model Number FES366ECB The element will not heat. I just changed to a new one but it is still not working. How can I trouble shoot? The broiler heats.
1 Answer Karen, If you have a multi meter, you can dismount and slide the element out enough to attach the meter leads to the element wires and terminals, program a bake cycle and check for 220-240 VAC across the terminals. less than 220 VAC the element wont heat and you'll need to check the yellow wire for a break or damaged connection. If the wire is OK, you'll need to check or replace the EOC/Clock 316418530, the bake relay has shorted and/or failed. Read More...
Casey October 31, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire GLEB30S8CQA I have two heating elements in my wall even one at the very top and one on the very bottom. The one on the bottom will not heat up what so ever. You can put your hand on it in the oven and bake mode and there's no heat. The heating element on top heats up quickly. Would this tell me that it's just the heating element that needs to be replaced? Thank you very much for your help
1 Answer Hello Casey. Test it for continuity. If it reads closed then it is good. If open, it is bad. If it is good, then replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Barbara October 18, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire Range PLEF489ACB Hello, when I hit the bake button to turn oven on, it reads 100 instead of 350 like it normally use to and it doesnt warm at all. The broiler works and the little oven works as well. The stovetop also works. The convection oven does not work either. Is this the element ?
1 Answer Hello Barbara. If both the convection and bake does not work, it sounds like the board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Elements should read closed for continuity if they are good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
