Inothenry July 19, 2011 for Model Number CDE4000FW0 My dryer heats up and drys my clothes, but it makes a thumping sound. I have checked the belt it is good. What could it be?
1 Answer Hi Inothenry. Open the dryer door and feel the gap in between the top of the drum and the front panel. If you can put your finger in it, then the front panel seals are worn. This upper part # is 134440200. The lower felt seal is part # 5303937183. Also your rear tub bearing that connects to the back of the tub is worn. This part # is 5303281153. Thank you. Read More...
Brian July 16, 2011 for Model Number FEQB2152FE1 We replaced the bearing in the back, and now the glide has been shaved off so it cant be supported. How do we attach the glide to the drum, so we dont have to replace the drum? Its the thin piece on the front of the drum correct? It doesnt look like it can be fastened back on.
1 Answer Hi Brian. The front drum glides have clips that clip into the inside of your drum. They can be pushed into the drum slots for replacement of the new parts. This part # is 137513300. Thank you. Read More...
