The problem seems to be with the control arm not coming down, it seems to hanging up for some reason and is not moving freely. It does not come all the way down when the ice maker cycles. I replaced the icemaker 241798231 recently, and the unit will proceed through the ice harvest and water refill without problems. However, after water refill the bail arm remains in an elevated position and if left there the harvest cycle will not initiate when the ice has formed. If I push the bail arm down manually, there is no noticeable resistance, and the harvest cycle will initiate at the right time. What could be the cause of the bail arm remaining in the up position after water fill?

I need to remove the old icemaker and it looks like it maybe difficult to remove. The screw is located directly above a bracket(the one that holds the ice bucket). Set temp at 4deg F. Then ice maker worked but would not stop making ice. Had to turn the water off at the wall to stop it.
