Suzie October 20, 2016 for Model Number 316207502 The electronic control panel works fine but the ends snapped where the screws hold it against the back of the stove. I realize I will have to get an entire control panel but the overlay I have is intact and fine. Can I use the overlay with the new control panel?
1 Answer Hello Suzie. It is extremely hard to do so but can be done. Heat it with ta hair dryer but do not melt it. Then peel it off the old one and place it on the new one. Usually when I replace these, I go ahead and replace the overlay. Thanks. Read More...

Melissa C August 15, 2016 for Model Number FGGF3054MFJ I have an intermittent problem with the keypad on my Frigidaire gas stove, model FGGF3054MFJ. You have to try multiple times to press bake, enter temp, and then trouble comes when you hit "start" button. It is almost as if the start button acts as if you have hit the cancel button. Typically after multiple tries, the over will come on to whatever temperature you have entered. Same holds true for convect and broil buttons where when you hit start it is as if it is cancelled. pulled the control board to visually inspect it and also tried cleaning the self-contained ribbon cable. The problem persists and I am not sure if I need a new overlay or entire control panel unit. Thanks in advance for your help!
1 Answer Mellissa, The touchpad part of the control board comes with the control board and is part number 316560118 and would recommend getting the overlay as well which is 316220805. Read More...
Chuck B July 25, 2016 for Model Number FGB24LABC How to replace a range control overlay in an installed FRIGIDAIRE Wall oven. I saw your video for replacing an overlay for a free standing gas oven, but question how to replace one while the range is installed in the wall. My overlay is tilted so I could get something sharp on one end, but I'm not sure what to use. Also, if I do get it removed but there is glue residue what can I use to safely remove it?
1 Answer Chuck, You will need to get the control panel off the unit in order to remove the overlay to install a new one. This can normally be done by removing 2 or 3 screws from the underside of the control panel when you open the oven door. If this is not possible then you may need to slide the unit out slightly to access the screws. Once the control panel is off then remove the clock assembly and remove the old overload and install the new one. Rubbing alcohol works good for removing the excess glue if there is any. Read More...

Daron December 02, 2014 for Model Number fef36ece Hi my oven works fine on my stove but, none of the surface heats up. The controle panel is also blank and not working. Do you think the control panel is my problem? Will the control panel stop the surface iels stop working but the oven still work fine?
1 Answer Hello Daron. With the oven working, I would start with looking for a wiring issue for the cooktop. It sounds like a bad wire or connection supplying power to the top. Read More...
