Amiejane March 19, 2014 for Model Number fef366ccb I started to preheat the oven went upstairs. When I came back down a few minutes later, the oven was off and breaker was blown. I went downstairs and reset breaker. When the oven came back on, it showed a temperature first then went to showing the f1 error code. When I hit the clock to set it, it showed 1200 and then started to try to lock the door off and on. What would cause this error or malfunction?
1 Answer Hello Amiejane. 1. Shorted keypad. 2. Control's internal checksum may have become corrupted. 3. Control has sensed a potential runaway oven condition. Control may have shorted relay, RTD sensor probe may have gone bad. 1. Replace EOC. 2. Disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power. If fault returns upon power-up, replace EOC. 3. Check RTD sensor probe and replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced, should damage be extensive. Read More...

Don September 27, 2011 for Model Number frigidaire--FEF366CCE Wife was using the stoves oven and started to turn on the RR burner, when as she describes a bright flash came from the control panel blowing the circut breaker--reset breaker and panel lights up, clock came on, top burner worked, but code F1 comes on and the paper work for the stove calls for us to replace the EOC, which is expensive. Will this fix the problem, or should we consider buying a new stove? Thank you, Don.
1 Answer Hello Don! The F1 failure code indicates that the electronic control has failed and will need to be replaced. Your part number is 316207511. Thanks. Read More...
Melvin S September 09, 2011 for Model Number FEF352AWF The bake and broil elements quit working suddenly. The bake and broil buttons light when they are pushed. Any suggestions as to what it could be as I believe the elements are ok. Thanks, Mel
1 Answer Melvin, Have you checked and made sure you have 240 VAC to the range terminal block, Try resetting the breakers several times. With neither element working, I would haave to consider a power supply problem or damaged wire to the range and or elements, first. Otherwise it could be a defective ERC/Clock 316207511 Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
