Tina August 19, 2017 for Model Number FGEF3035RF Hello, my model number is FGEF3035RF. When I look at the part on this website - part number 316505601 assuming this is the panel I need (damaged the one I have with melted foil) It appears that there is a place for more than the 2 screws that are on the one I currently have. Will this fit my model and if so why are there more screw holes on this part? Thank you
2 Answers Tina, Once you remove the orginal pan you will probably notice some screw holes to the front but they are not necessary as this will sit under the lip of the front of the oven. Read More...

2 Answers Tina, The 316505601 / 316505601 Oven Bottom/Panel is the correct part to order for the model number you supplied. The part is in stock and available at this time. The "additional" holes or openings in this case is for the production of the part and will be "hidden" once the panel is properly inserted into the opening and pressed into place. The only concerns should be installing the two oven bottom bracket supports and screws. Thanks, Read More...
Laurie Todd July 03, 2017 for Model Number FGEF3035RFA What kind of a tool do I used to get the two screws out at the back of the bottom panel? I tried a small hex wrench and a needle nose pliers ... neither one moved the screws. Thanks.
1 Answer Laurie Todd, Normally the screw at the back of the bottom panel would be held in with phillips head screw or nuts. Read More...

Joe May 06, 2017 for Model Number FGEF3042KFB I wish to replace the bottom panel inside the oven. When I look at the panel, it's not clear how I remove it. Do I wedge a knife or screwdriver along the side to pry it out; or is there an easier way which I can remove it. The part# is 316505601 . Thank you.
1 Answer Joe, Once you remove the screws holding the bottom in place then you will want to get a screwdriver in the hole and lift the bottom panel up. Read More...

Dave C. December 14, 2016 for Model Number FGEF3035RWA I received a replacement panel. When attempting to unscrew (#2 square tip screwdriver for screws that also accept 1/4" nut) both screws struggled to get loose but then would just spin in their openings and not come out at all. After 5 minutes of unscrewing, I gave up. Does this model have bolts underneath the panel or something? Is it possible to safely cut or drill off the screws and buy replacement screws? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Dave, I would use a small screwdriver under the screw heads to apply some upward pressure while turning the screws. This is how technicians deal with this type of issue and it works great. When re-installing the screws, if you use a small piece of copper wire with no insulation in the screw opening before inserting the screw, this will normally allow the screw to tighten. Overtightening is not recommended on an appliance that produces heat like an oven and this will not affect performance or operation. Read More...
