Randy August 17, 2011 for Model Number TEF326FSA The electric stove top heats up but the oven/broiler do not. Checked the heating element for both. They are good. What else can I check?
1 Answer Hello Randy. If the elements are good, and the oven does not heat, you will need to test and see if the clock 5304518660 is sending power to the elements when turned on. If not, you will need to replace the clock. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Steve April 05, 2011 for Model Number GLEFS77CSB Had eoc and overlay one year ago, replaced. Oven does not keep accurate temp. Use recalabrate several times in order to bake. Hate to buy new stove. Any ideas??
1 Answer Hello Steve. You will need to check the oven sensor 316233903 and see if it is good. It should read around 1100 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps. Read More...
Guest February 28, 2011 If the electric stove top heats up, but the oven/broil do not, could it possibly be the RTD sensor? If it's not that, I'm sure the EOC will need to be replaced.
1 Answer You will first need to make sure you are getting the proper 240 volts to the appliance (the top burners and other parts will still function on the regular 120 volts). I would also check the main terminal block 5304409888 to make sure it has not burnt out. That as well can cause low voltage to the oven. If those check out ok, you would be looking at replacing the EOC 5304518660. Read More...
