The Oven Temperature Sensor is an OEM part for Frigidaire ovens. It monitors and regulates the oven's temperature by sending accurate temperature readings to the control board. This ensures that the oven maintains the desired cooking temperature throughout the baking or roasting process.

Causes of a bad oven temperature sensor include exposure to high heat over extended periods, electrical issues, or physical damage to the sensor probe.

Symptoms of a bad oven temperature sensor include:

  • Incorrect oven temperatures
  • Overheating or underheating during use
  • Erratic temperature readings
  • The oven not reaching the set temperature

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Hello Karen! Is the bake element heating at all or does it have any breaks/weak spots in it? If it does it may need to be replaced, part number 316075103. Also make sure that the bake element is getting the proper 240v before replacing. If its not, it could be a problem with the clock 5304518660 or the wiring (from the clock to the element). The clock itself would still show time/etc, however, it could be shortening out. Hope this information helps you, thanks!

Hi Nancy. Usually the oven will give a F-3 code for the oven sensor failure. It should ohm out between 1080-1,100 ohms. Rotate the wires to check the probe from the back w/ cover removed. It normally tells the clock to regulate the bake relay on/off. It appears that the bake relay contact have stuck closed and will not open. You will need to replace both controls . Clock part # 316207511 and Sensor part # 316233903. Thank You.

Hi Elaine. The oven does cross reference to a F-0 code as being a control board issue part # 316207511. The oven sensor usually give a F-3 code. It will ohm out to 1,100 ohms cold. Rotate wires so it will show a open or a short condition. Sensor part # 316233903. Part # 316233902 is the same part we have. It is an upgraded oven sensor correct for your model #. Thank You.
