Caroline, you may want to inspect the connector 807114001 that the spray arm attaches to for any signs of worn or flat points that may prevent the spray arm from locking in properly. You may also want to inspect to ensure the locking nut 154335201 is engaging the spray arm lock arms properly.

Hello Mary. Make sure the drain pump is not clogged on the unit. If not, then you will need to replace the pump if there is power to it and the unit does not drain. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
